ماژول زنگ اخبار یا بازر یک دستگاه سیگنال صوتی است که ممکن است از نوع مکانیکی، الکترومکانیکی یا پیزوالکتریک باشد. بازر یک ساختار یکپارچه از مبدل های الکترونیکی، منبع تغذیه DC است که به طور گسترده ای در رایانه ها، چاپگرها، دستگاه های کپی، آلارم، اسباب بازی های الکترونیکی، تجهیزات الکترونیکی خودرو، تلفن، تایمر و سایر محصولات الکترونیکی دستگاه های صوتی مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد. استفاده های معمولی از زنگ اخبار شامل دستگاه های زنگ دار ، تایمر و تأیید ورودی کاربر مانند کلیک ماوس یا keystroke است.
بازر اکتیو دارای منبع نوسان داخلی است و بلافاصله بعد از اعمال ولتاژ به صدا در می آید،روش ساده برای تشخیص تفاوت بازر اکتیو و پسیو، نوع راه اندازی آنها با باتری است. پایانه های مثبت و منفی را به طور صحیح با باتری متصل کنید، اگر صدای زنگ بازر به صدا در آمد، آن بازر فعال است وگرنه بازر پسیو می باشد.

Typical uses of buzzers and beepers include alarm devices, timers, and confirmation of user input such as a mouse click or keystroke.
The active buzzer has an internal oscillating source, and the buzzer will sound as soon as it is energized. The active buzzer is widely used in computers, printers, copiers, alarms, electronic toys, automotive electronics, telephones, timers, and other electronic products for sounding devices.
The simple way to distinguish passive buzzer and the active buzzer is to drive them with a battery. Connect positive and negative terminals properly with the battery, if the buzzer sounds, it is an active buzzer. If soundless, it is a passive buzzer.
