Description:
This module is based on the Si4713 chip. The Si4713 integrates the complete transmit functions for standards-compliant unlicensed FM broadcast stereo transmission. The chip also allows an integrated power scanning receiver to identify low signal power FM channels.
Users must comply with local regulations on radio frequency (RF) transmission. You can wire up to your favorite microcontroller to the I2C data lines to set the transmit frequency and play line-level audio into the stereo headphone jack.
This transmitter even has RDS/RBDS support, which is text/data transmissions that many modern FM receivers support.
